I take your privacy seriously

I ask that you read this Privacy Policy (“the Policy”) carefully as it contains important information about how I will use any personal data.

Personal data I may collect

I will obtain personal data about you (such as your name or email address) whenever you complete an online form. That means, as soon as you get in touch with me, I will save your Name, your Email Address or any other relevant information you pass on to me. With Google Analytics, I may monitor the usage of this website (anonym). This may include monitoring traffic data, location data and the originating domain name of a user’s internet service provider. Some of this data will be aggregated or statistical, which means that I will not be able to identify you individually. To be completely honest with you: I don´t use google analytics a lot. Now and then I have a look at it but mainly just because I am a naturally curious person. I don´t like numbers, I don´t like statistics. I like taking pictures.

How I may use your personal data

I will use your personal data for following the purposes:

/ administration
/ fraud prevention and detection
/ billing and order fulfilment
/ improving our services
/ but mainly to make you happy

I will never share your data. Promise. I won´t share them and I certainly won´t sell them. But as it usually is, there is one exception:

I may disclose your personal data to law enforcement agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity (Safety first!)

Information about other individuals

If you give us information on behalf of someone else. (I know… a brides and grooms life can be real tough!) You confirm that the other person has appointed you to act on his/her behalf and has agreed that you can:
/ give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of his or her personal data
/ receive on his/her behalf any data protection notices
/ give consent to the transfer of his/her personal data abroad
/ give consent to the processing of his or her personal data

Use of cookies

I love cookies. If you are happy to agree on them, I may collect information about your computer, such as your IP address and/or browser, which I will use for administration purposes and statistical analysis. This information will not identify you personally. If you decide to erase all of your digital footprints, you also have the chance to decline. But keep in mind, if you do so, you may lose some of the functionality of this website. Either way, I am happy to have you here.

Transfers of data out of the EEA

I do not (but will keep the option open) to transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area*. Any transfer of your data will be subject to a European Commission approved contract which will safeguard your privacy rights and give you remedies in the unlikely event of a security breach. * The EEA comprises the EU member states plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to personal data which I may process about you. If you wish to exercise this right you should:
/ get in touch with me per email
/ include a proof of your identity and address (Again: Safety first!)
/ specify the personal data you want access to

Outside the web world. Let´s talk about photos!

In order to make you happy I:
– take photos
– store photos and
– occasionally share photos

and all of this of everyone who is part of your big day. It would be boring to document a wedding with only the bride and the groom, right? That´s why I will also capture the dancing children, the joyful parents, the happy aunties and uncles and the ton of friends who came to celebrate with you that day. Please note that you have to make sure, that you inform your guests that there  will be photos taken on your event and that they are most likely in some of the images (especially if there is a group shot).

As soon as I am finished with the postproduction, I usually can´t wait to share the images with you. I use an online gallery called “Pixieset” to do so. Not just because it displays your wedding in a beautiful way, but also because it´s save. Once the images are uploaded, I will forward you a link to the password protected gallery. This link enables you the look at the images, share the images (if you want) and also to download them – so that they are save and sound. Speaking of save and sound. Feel free to have a look at Pixieset´s privacy policy which you find via: https://pixieset.com/privacy/

Apart from that all images of your wedding are stored by myself locally. This means, no cloud and no possible leaks. I will keep RAW files for a maximum of 7 years and store the edited images in order to use some them in my portfolio.

Our contact details

If you wish to contact me, please send an email via my contact form or the email address listed below. I may change this privacy policy from time to time. You should check this policy occasionally to ensure you are aware of the most recent version which will apply each time you access this website. This Privacy Policy is brought to you by UKWDA Limited (“UKWDA”) and obviously adapted by myself.
