“Where the sky touches the sea”

It should be fresh. Somehow different. But still elegant. It should be ethereal and svelte. But at also settle and comforting. We waned to distance ourselves  from the urban hectic, from all the kitch and splendor. Back to the roots – back into the nature. These were the first ideas when we got together to create our moodboard for this shoot. The perfect location therefore was soon found: The  Seven Sisters Country Park, close to Brighton on Englands Southend.

In the team around myself were my two friends and colleagues Nicole Rehak, who is running a small atelier in Austria´s Mühlviertel and freelancer Tanja Kunesch, who was not just responsible for getting hair & make up right, but also to make it last against water and wind. Since we all prefer to work with independent, local businesses we got fully equipped with bridal dresses, suits and jewellery from partners based in Austria before we hopped into the plane. Flossmann –  an exclusive Bridal Salon based in Vienna was so kind to lend us the dress & suit (San Patrick & Masterhand) The Jewellery (with which we fell in love btw) are some of Julia Skergeth´s unique pieces – made of rice. Environmental Jewelry, which combines sustainability & exclusivity was the perfect choice to complete our look. For the floral designs we worked with Anna from Quince who is based in Brighton.
